2023 VENDORS

We are looking at making some new additions / ideas 💡 to build the growing business model.

 

This is a very unique and one of a kind space within Northumberland with so much potential for growth,

opportunity and community support!

 

Vendor Space Spring 2023 ( only 1 per category ).

NOT ALL APPLICANTS WILL BE CHOSEN

DEADLINE FOR THE FIRST ROUND OF APPLICATIONS IS FEBRUARY 15, 2023

March or April 1, 2023 IS THE ESTIMATED TIMELINE

TO BE OPEN FOR VENDORS.

 

What is different about our space ?

We are located downtown Cobourg on King West ( 148 ) 

 ( ALWAYS LOTS OF FREE parking on King / Durham / Ball ).

We fall under the 8 blocks downtown DBIA shopping district and are included in all their promotions / activities! 

 

We want to make things more accessible, more streamline and affordable for vendors to showcase and promote each other!

An opportunity to be a part of the store with support and sense of community. 

 

We are currently a private small event / workshop wine boutique venue ( fully liquor licensed ). 

We offer catering and support local restaurants to bring in to the event venue.

 

We are listed on Air B n B Experiences with fantastic exposure and regular bookings year round.

When you host a workshop we will also list your experience as an option! 

 

Vendor Cost $100 / per month with a minimum 3 month commitment ( 30 days notice to terminate lease after 3 months ). 

All shelves will be large ( see below ) and accessible to showcase your items. 

 

We will also have your logo on display on the King street window

6.5   feet high

3   feet deep

We will be offering a permanent window display option for all vendors ( we have an incredible window for display ).

There will also be a sandwich board outside with vendor details and running weekly social media lives.

Give Back to the community with a percentage of vendor rentals as well as sales and strategic campaigns donated to local charities ( 1 chosen charity every 2 months ).

3D Floor-plan ( below ) each full unit ( actual photo of the unit also below ) will be per business

( aprox 6 feet tall by 2 feet wide 1 - 1.5  feet deep ).

Each unit will also have a security feature of covering each space that will still showcase your items but protect them when workshops / events happen after hours. 

These will be custom built with lighting and electricity available.

 

You must commit to being in the store 1 day a week or split hours through the week ( 5 hours / week ).  

16 hours will be covered ( myself during the week ) .

You can arrange with another vendor or myself

to fill some of your hours in as needed ( within reason ).

We will provide staff to cover your hours ( at your cost ).

Bartering some hours maybe an option as well to look at.

 

Potential Boutique Hours : 

Tuesday - Friday 

10:00am - 6:00pm

Saturday - Sunday 

12:00pm  - 4:00pm

Mondays Closed

( potential to be open )

Holiday Special Longer Hours

Monthly Moonlight Hours ( Late Shopping on Fridays till 8pm ).

We want to stand out in the downtown district and offer longer shopping hours ( this is KEY ).

 

You keep all profits, we will provide the space, debit machine and standard shopping bags. 

 

We will have ONLY 6 Vendors Maximum to keep things easy to navigate and to allow for a more personal shopping experience. 

WE NOW HAVE AN OFFICE / TREATMENT ROOM IN THE BACK OF THE STORE ALSO AVAILABLE FOR USE  AND TO RENT.

THIS HAS A DESK, SEATING AREA FOR UP TO 6 PEOPLE AS WELL AS A HYDRAULIC TREATMENT BED AND TROLLY WITH MAG LAMP.

 

Workshop space rental:

1 - free 2 hour rental with all vendors per month during open hours!

 

Regular workshop or Pop Up space non vendor rental:

$25 ( 2 hours open hrs )

$45 ( 3 hours closed hrs )

 

Vendor rental:

$20 ( 2 hours open hrs )

$40 ( 3 hours closed hrs )

 

Closed hour vendor workshop pop up rentals optional you can add a bartender - liquor license ( full bar ).

Our goal is to create an affordable, beautiful unique space with

zero to low turnover with vendors.

A LITTLE ABOUT ME ..

I have been in Business for almost 18 years enduring many learning curves, failures which lead to learning and success. 

 

My events company is my MAIN gig and has been very successful with over a dozen employees before the pandemic.

It has taken 2 plus years to recover from Cov and now we are finally going into 2023 stronger then before ( this year we did over 100 events across Ontario, almost back to pre pandemic times ).

Continually challenging myself with more knowledge and education with upgrades and dozens of certifications.

Starting with business, accounting along with marketing and PR.

I also have 2 diplomas in Advanced Esthetics & Aromatherapy.

Educator Certified in Esthetics and Body Sugaring.

As well as multiple certifications in Nutrition, Fitness, Yoga, Hospitality and Wine & Spirits.
